Details emerging indicates that president William Ruto is expected to end his State visit to former prime minister Raila Odinga's stronghold region today. Yesterday, he landed in Homabay county and was warmly received by leaders and residents from this region.
Despite the fact that he got a very few number of votes from this region during the last general election, Dr William Ruto took a number of development goodies to this region including affordable housing program.
It's indicated that he will be heading to his home region tomorrow. According to the report from former Bomet Governor Hon Isaac Ruto who was beaten mercilessly by UDA candidate in the last general election,the Head of State will be attending a church service in their county tomorrow.
Rutto has warmly welcomed the president and a number of leaders from Riftvalley region will be expected to avail themselves so as to receive Dr Ruto who is also their region kingpin.
