Alot has been happening in the Kenyan political arena in the recent days. This is all ahead of the 2022 general elections whereby politicians have been forced to side with either Deputy President William Ruto or the other side that has political heavyweights like President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga

The latest to jump from one faction to another was Nairobi ex-governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko who jumped from the Uhuru-Raila handshake team to join Deputy President William Ruto's team. This was after he was impeached as the Nairobi Governor. This is despite the fact that Sonko was the number one defender of Uhuru-Raila handshake as well as topped in popularizing BBI report.

Currently, Mike Mbuvi Sonko is held at Gigiri Police Station. The former Nairobi Governor will remain in police custody pending the ruling on bail application on Thursday. This was all predicted by Siaya Senator James Orengo who is a close ally of Raila Odinga sometimes back

In another one year, you will be crying in my office for me to come and represent you," James Orengo once prophesied and this seems to be the case of how President Uhuru Kenyatta is doing to Jubilee leaders like Mike Mbuvi Sonko
