Majority of leaders allied to deputy president William Ruto's Tangatanga wing have rebuked the recent arrest of popular billionaire, Hon Jimmy Wanjigi, who is among presidential candidates in the coming general election.
Taking to her social media accounts today night, Nairobi nominated senator Hon Millicent Omanga who is also a strong supporter of Dr William Ruto claims that Wanjigi didn't deserve the arrest and all what is currently taking place against him.
She added that whatever is happening to Wanjigi should not happen to anyone regardless of his/her Political stand."I feel for Jimmy Wanjigi. He doesn't deserve what he is going through," said Hon Omanga. "Nobody deserves such mistreatment. State brutality, political witch-hunt and betrayal, all wrapped into one," she added.Interestingly, none of Wanjigi's former allies have defended him. President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have made no statement concerning it. Share this article with your friends and remember to follow us for more updates.
