Nakuru West member of parliament honourable Samwel Arama is one of the people who have expressed their happiness after the elevation on Nakuru. According to him, he is proud that Nakuru has grown that much. He also took time to explain the biggest problem facing political class in Kenya.
Speaking to TV47 at his offices, Arama revealed that multi_party politics is the current problem. He expounded his argument by saying that most politicians have reduced their political parties to tribal parties. That of one mentions ODM, people will assume that he or she is a Luo or if one mentions Jubilee, then it is assumed he is a Kikuyu or Kalenjin.
Arama also added that this is what is disturbing the country's peace. He said that before, the country was enjoying peace before the parties became tribal. He reiterated that currently, the country looks like its being led by only two communities.
However, he acknowledged the fact that Nakuru is a place where almost all Kenyan tribes stay. He was happy that he was voted in by people who never cared about his tribe.
