Kenya is blessed with great women leaders who have changed the course of history. Some like the late Wangari Maathai went all the way to receive nobel peace awards which is the highest that any Kenyan would desire.
Others like former governor for Kitui charity Ngilu tried to contest for presidency. Although they didn't register much success, it was a step towards the right direction.
In the neighboring country of Tanzania however, women are lucky to have one of their own ( president Samia Suluhu)occupying the most influential position in the land following the death of president john Magufuli.
The future for kenyan ladies is also bright with many young women thrusting themselves into the limelight through many opportunities that have been made available by the constitution.
One such opportunity is the creation of the women representative position which has seen youthful leaders like Linet Toto emerging.
Besides that, others have taken advantage of other opportunities such as nominations to Parliament.
Through that, young leaders like Winnie Odinga have emerged after her father Raila Odinga's party ODM sponsored her to east Africa legislative assembly.
Nominated senator Hezena Lemaletian.
Others that have benefitted from nominations include Hezena Lemaletian who is a nominated Senator courtesy of ODM.
However, others like Charlene Ruto have had to curve their own niche using their own efforts and of course the big name.
While in Tanzania last year,she sent her audience into laughter when she alleged that she is operating in the office of the first daughter.
Now who is the most promising of these young ladies?
According to an online poll done by a local digital media, Charlene Ruto emerged top with 30 percent of the netizens believing that she is the most promising with Hezena becoming second at 29 percent while Winnie Odinga came Third at 26 Percent.
