Deputy president William Ruto on Friday retreated to his North Rift turf to solidify his base which is under threat from Gideon Moi ahead of the 2022 presidential showdown.
While speaking at Kaptumo market, Ruto promised to change the economic model of this country using a"bottom-up approach" which will benefit ordinary Kenyans of "Mama Mboga" and "Mkokoteni people."
The Dp dismissed those questioning the reality of his proposed model saying he knows what he is talking about because he is the Deputy president of Kenya.
"Wengine wananiuliza ati bii bottom-up approach itafanywa vipi?, Wacha niwaambie mimi si mjinga, mimi si wazimu, am the Deputy president of Kenya and I know what am talking about." Said a confident Ruto.
Ruto trashed his opponents saying they are only interested in dividing positions amongst themselves at the expense of common Mwananchi.
Ruto acknowledged close to 16M Kenyans are jobless and promised to be their saviour if elected in 2022.
