The burial ceremony of Barack Onyango who was the bodyguard to the former prime minister Raila Odinga's wife Hon Idda Odinga was held today in Bondo Siaya county. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the burial ceremony was attended by several leaders from Nyanza region who mourned with the family and friends.
According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the former prime minister Raila Odinga and his wife also attended the burial ceremony. Raila Odinga eulogized the late Barack Onyango as a hardworking man who stood firm with Idda Odinga in every events. Raila Odinga urged the family members to live in peace even after the burial ceremony of their member.
The other leaders who attended the burial ceremony includes the Siaya governor Hon James Orengo, Siaya senator Hon Oburu Odinga, Hon Ottiende Amollo, Kisumu governor Professor Anya'Nyong'o among other leaders. Despite that, let us pray for the family during this time of difficulties. Rest in peace.
