Nelson Havi Breaks Silence On The Bill To Remove The DP, Sends Out A Strong Message To Kioni

Since his handshake with Raila Odinga, President Uhuru Kenyatta has had a rough period of time with Deputy President William Ruto. The DP went his way to form the TangaTanga group which he has been using to attack the Head of State and in criticizing the government, something that Uhuru's allies have been responding to angrily.

Things seem to be getting worse between the two powerful leaders because as we are currently speaking, President Uhuru Kenyatta's men led by Jeremiah Kioni have come up with a Bill that gives the President powers to remove his/her Deputy. If that Bill goes through at the moment, then it means Ruto is in danger of being sacked.

Many Kenyans have so far reacted upon that move with the latest of them being the President of the Law Society of Kenya, Nelson Havi. Through his official twitter account, Havi broke his silence on the Bill to remove the DP as he sent out a strong message to Jeremiah Kioni.

"The People of Kenya through the Constitution removed the power to appoint and dismiss the Deputy President from the President and gave it to themselves. Jeremiah Kioni should understand that the tomfoolery of David Mwenje before him in the 80s is not permissible today." Tweeted the LSK President.
