Raila Alleges What President Ruto Did Yesterday As He Hits Out At Govt Over High Cost Of Living

Azimio leader Raila Odinga has finally broken his silence on the high Cost of living in Kenya, hitting out at the Kenya Kwanza government led by President William Ruto over the promises they made during campaigns.

Speaking during his tour to Mathare, Nairobi County today, Raila claimed that the Kenya Kwanza government led by President William Ruto made numerous promises during their campaigns but no single promise has been achieved to now.

The ODM leader claimed that he is the only one who understands what Kenyans are going through due to high coast of living. He claimed that it is because of the high Cost of living that he decided to come out in public and speak to save Kenyans.

"Promises zilikuwa zinaflow kama mvua. Walisema bei ya unga itarudi chini kutoka shilingi Mia mbili. Imerudi ama haijarudi? Walisema bei ya mafuta itashuka, imeshuka? Hayo yote niliwaambia ni kama kunyamba kwa punda (Promises were flowing like rain. They said that the prices of unga will reduce from 200, has it come down? I told you that all those were like a donkey's blow)," Raila said.

Raila claimed that President Ruto yesterday went to Nairobi Stoke Exchange and claimed that he went to meet the Mama Mbogas and Bodabodas.

"Jama bado hajaleta Hustlers fund. Jana anaenda Nairobi Stoke Exchange anasema anataka kuonana na Bodaboda na mama mboga. Katika Stoke Exchange huwezienda na ile pesa ya ziada kupiga nae karata huko (The guy has not brought Hustlers fund. Yesterday, he went to Nairobi Stoke Exchange and claimed that he went to meet with Bodaboda traders and Mama Mbogas. You can't go with extra money to the Stoke Exchange to play mind games there)," Raila said.
