Garissa Township MP Aden Duale while attacking Azimio Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga has claimed that the Kikuyu community and Somalis outshine all other tribes when it comes to business.
Duale who was urging business owners to rally behind Deputy President William Ruto claimed that people from Mt Kenya and Somalis can be found in every county doing business.
The MP who was speaking at DP Ruto’s Karen residence said business owners must choose the right leader who will ensure that their businesses will grow.
According to Duale who was urging the Mt Kenya region to support Ruto after Raila named Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua as his running mate said the region which is known for business should support Ruto.
Duale said under DP Ruto, businesses will grow adding that the deputy president will keep his word and ensure challenges faced by business owners are addressed.
“Wale wanafanya biashara Kenya ni wakikuyu na wasomali. (The people who have businesses in Kenya are Kikuyus and Somalis). We are the ones who live everywhere and do business. We must choose the right government,” said Duale.
“And the right government and the right leader is here,” said Duale as he pointed at DP Ruto.
