
The speaker of the National assembly Hon. Justin Muturi has accused the deputy president Dr William Ruto of absconding his duties and engaging in too much Politics of popularizing his presidential bid.
Speaking today in Nakuru county where he met the Democratic Party delegates, Muturi accused Dr William Ruto of engaging in campaigns since 2018.
Muturi has also declared his presidential bid come August 9th this year in the race to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta who will be retiring from the office after successfully completing his two terms in office of five years each.

Addressing the delegates, Muturi also welcomed the move taken by the national assembly to pass the politics parties amendment bill that is to change the nomination and coalition rules.
In conclusion, Hon Muturi made the remarks while in Nakuru inorder to popularize his bid while Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga and deputy president Dr William Ruto of UDA toured Makueni and Narok respectively to solidify their presidential bid.
