Popular lawyer Danstan has predicted doom for constitutional amendment push through the Building Bridges Initiative BBI drive.
The law scholar argued that the drive had lost its focus of uniting and bringing all Kenyans on board all which was its primary agenda.
Omari argued that the targets of BBI have kept changing from the start and that it's timing is also not well thought.
He predicted saying the handshake product will definitely fall in a court of law or at the referendum.
"Danstan Omari : BBI was conceptualized from 2017/2018 animosity, the agenda that was to unite & bring people on board has disappeared. Targets move every other day. The whole process will fall either in Parliament or in court. Timing is against referendum #DayBreak"
On her part Youth political analyst Gloria Orwar argued that the BBI process has been characterized with isolating other Kenyans unlike when it began.
He said the BBI drive now seems to be all about expanding the executive a thing he said majority of Kenyans might turn up against during the referendum.
"Gloria Orwar : When BBI initiative started, 90% of Kenyans were on board. We moved from uniting Kenyans & put focus on expanding executive. The other issues in BBI are not getting the spotlight & most Kenyans might vote NO #DayBreak"
