The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission have been conducting the tallying of the results across the various tallying centers in the country and declaring the winners with most losers conceding the elections.

The Presidential Tallying that had been ongoing at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi County have been concluded and all the tables that had been there moved to pave way for the announcement of the winner.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has announced that the new President of Kenya will be announced in the next two hours.

Residents of Eldoret Town in Uasin Gishu County which is a stronghold of United Democratic Alliance party leader Deputy President William Ruto have been seen on the streets awaiting the announcement of the results with most of them optimistic.

The mood is similar in Kondele in Kisumu City this afternoon as hundreds of the residents are already gathered in the streets awaiting to hear who will be declared as the next President of Kenya.

According to the reliable reports that we have from Kondele, through The Star Newspaper, the hundreds of residents watched as a truck load of General Service Unit officers passed them by.

The residents cheered at the truck that was full of police officers as the officers waved back at them this afternoon as per the reports that we have with us.

It is still unclear as to who has won the 2022 General Elections with both sides of the political divide claiming victory.
