Atwoli Finally Breaks Silence Hours After Mudavadi Joined DP Ruto's Camp, Asks An Important Question

Musalia Mudavadi and deputy president William Ruto's merging came as a shock to many. Many political leaders were sure that the two will not work together since Mudavadi had promised that OKA is still intact.

For that reason, COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli has broken silence on the same. According to Atwoli, Mudavadi, in 1994 while minister for finance, sneaked in the redundancy clause into the Finance Bill of 1994, as suggested by the World Bank, which allowed employers to declare redundancy without consulting workers. So how will he empower workers?

This comes after Atwoli announced Oparanya as Luhya spokesman and left Mudavadi during Bukhungu stadium rally. Atwoli and Mudavadi has since been rivals and even some of Mudavadi's supporters rubbished the Bukhungu stadium rally.

During the meeting today, Mudavadi indirectly critisised Atwoli and claimed that he is not serving Kenyan workers as he is supposed to. The crowd even mentioned Atwoli's name at a point during the speech.
