Deputy President William Ruto is busy traversing the country selling his bottom-up Economic model championed by the hustler movement ahead of the 2022 general elections. Dp Ruto was today in Kitui county where he was received heroically.
Dp is set to visit Raila Odinga's stronghold, Migori county in a bid to poach some votes from the vote-rich region of Nyanza. However, reports are indicating that Dp Ruto will be welcomed in a not-so-good way.
According to Denis Itumbi, investigative journalist and former statehouse digital strategist, Migori Senator Otichilo is mobilizing youths from the region to boo and eventually stone Dp Ruto's Motorcade.
Denis Itumbi added the hustler movement is not in any way moved by his political antics and goons will not stop the Deputy President from visiting the region. Why is it that the Nyanza region as opposed to other Presidential Candidates?
Not so long ago we witnessed Jimmy Wanjigi, Presidential Candidate, being stoned by the residents of Migori. Kenya is a democratic country and everyone is entitled to seek votes from any part of the country.
