According to reports, the meeting is set to discuss Raila Odinga's presidential bid ahead of the 2022 general election, with the former Prime Minister determined to land the top seat in the land that has in the previous occasions eluded him.
According to sources, a total of 26 Governors out of 47 have attended the meeting including Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Garissa Ali Korane, and his Makueni counterpart Kivutha Kibwana among others.
The meeting is said to be centered on rooting for Raila Odinga's presidency in the grassroots level as he continues his charm offensive.
