Kenya Kwanza is one of the strongest political formation in the country currently. They have one presidential candidate who has proven to be a good at thorn in the flesh for the opposition. William Ruto who picked Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate will now be hoping to clinch the seat in August.
The Kenya Kwanza team recently won themselves a new member who is Alfred Mutua an outgoing governor of Machakos County. Mutua left Azimio La Umoja after citing dishonesty from the coalition. After joining Ruto, he began campaigning for the side, they were holding ane economic forum in Embu.

During the event, Mutua urged Kalonzo to Join Kenya Kwanza. He claimed that Kalonzo was lied to by the Raila led coalition o an extent that he is now taking care of cows in his Yatta farm. Mutua spoke widely about the activities and events that occurred in Azimio. He never was appointed as running mate, which led to him announcing a presidential bid.
