"It is Not Easy Hosting More Than 3000 Students" MP Reveals How Meeting With Candidates Went Down

Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya on Thursday, 17 Nov 2022, hosted a group of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates ahead of their exams set to start in a few days.

The youthful MP has revealed he hosted over 3000 candidates in the constituency, noting that it was not an easy task for him and the committee that organized the whole event.

Salasya took to social media where he confirmed that his meeting with the candidates was successful regardless of the bigger number of candidates.

Several other leaders attended the event, among them former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.

"It’s not easy hosting 3000+ candidates, it takes, sacrifice, courage, heart and planning. It was a big success and the constituency is happy for having me as their MP. Thanks my party patron @DAP_Kenya Hon @EugeneLWamalwa for coming too," he tweeted.

The main aim of the meeting between the candidates and the MP was to have a word for them ahead of their exams.

Salasya also invited university students from the constituency to encourage candidates and share with them tips for making it to university.
