With only one day to the Machakos by elections, there have been many twists in the upcoming 18th March elections to replace the senatorial position that was left vacant following the death of Bonface Kabaka last year.
Monday was the last day that the aspirants were allowed to campaign. Agnes Kavindu ,Wiper flag bearer in this by election was even joined by Benga artists in Matuu Machakos as they were asking for votes from the citizens.
Kavindu had been in trouble over his academic qualification but was later confirmed to be eligible for the position to vie for the senatorial seat by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
Maendeleo Chap Chap party had already announced their withdrawal from the elections and now its a battle between Kavindu and Ngelengele
