Deputy President William Ruto is among those in race for August 2022 General Elections. Ruto is currently leading the pack and he has consistently build his political muscles through massive political campaigns round the country, consolidating his strongholds and making friends all over the country. Recently, Ruto's political move was partnering with Amani National Congress Party which seemed to have shape the political landscape as we head to August general elections.
On Friday 28th January 2022, Deputy President William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi , Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula and other allied leaders took their campaigns to Western Region. They toured series of counties in the region. Ruto popularize his candidature and bottom up economic approach.
He also received the defectors to his UDA party in the region. Among those who joined his UDA party is Atwoli's second wife Rosalina Simiyu. Atwoli is known to be Ruto's main critic who have consistently said Ruto is not going go win presidency.
Francis Atwoli has then responded after her wife decamps to UDA party. According to Atwoli, her first wife Rosalina is no longer in her list of relatives. He also said Western bloc is for Azimio.
