Meru Governor Honourable Kawira Mwangaza, has told off Meru Senator Kathuri Murungi over his plans to have her impeached.
Speaking during the launching of a potato aggregation and storage centre construction, the embattled Governor said that Senator Murungi has been inciting the County's MCAs to push for her ousting.
According to Mwangaza, Murungi has began early 2027 gubernatorial campaigns and that he wants her out of office so that he will easily clinch the County's top seat.

In a response to the Senator, Mwangaza quoted the Bible in the book of Isaiah 5:20 that says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Mrs Mwangaza further stated that she will try and use all means to block the MCAs from impeaching her including courts to make sure the motion fails.
