Top CEOs Who Will Be Running For Elective seats in 2022

1. Tabitha Karanja 

She is the CEO of Keroche Breweries the first large Breweries company in Kenya owned by a non multinational company. Tabitha has been the CEO for this company since its foundation in 1997 with his husband. 

She recently made her entry into politics after declaring that she will be vying for senatorial position for Nakuru city county. 

Other senatorial candidates eyeing to succeed current senator Susan Kihika are; Andrew Yatich, Davis Ruto, Dr. Joseph Mburu, Molo Mp Kuria Kimani, nominated MP Gideon Keter.

2. Jimmy Wanjigi 

Wanjigi is the founder and CEO of Kwacha group of companies. He joined the presidential race and declare that he is suitable to succeed the President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Other prominent politicians eyeing for the presidential seat are; Deputy President William Ruto, Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, KANU party leader Gideon Moi among many others.

3. Richard Ngatia

Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( KNCCI) and Megascope Healthcare CEO Richard Ngatia declared interest in Nairobi gubernatorial seat. He vied for this position in 2017 but lost to governor Kinyanjui.

Ngatia will face several politicians including; Nairobi Senator Johnstone Sakaja, former Starehe MP Margaret Wanjiru and businessman Agnes Kagure.

4. Kiprotich Bundotich

Buzeki group of companies CEO and founder Kiprotich Bundotich declared interest in Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat.  He vied in 2017 for gubernatorial seat for Uasin Gishu but lost to the current governor Jackson Mandago.

Other top people eyeing for the seat are; Jonathan Bii, David Sing'oei, Ambassador Julius Bitok, Soy Mp Caleb Kositany among many others.

5. Fernandes Barasa

Kenya Electricity Transmission Company ( KETRACO) and Managing Director Fernandes Barasa declared interest in the Kakamega gubernatorial seat. He is going to vie using ODM ticket.
