Deputy President William Ruto, certainly seems to be making moves with the confidence of a Presidential leader.
Despite receiving messages from the likes of Martha Karua, telling him to be patient, Ruto seems to be preparing to receive power from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Azimio have recently issued a directive that they will be heading to court, in order to contest the results of the just concluded General Elections. However, day by day, UDA keep increasing in number and soon Kenya Kwanza could end up having more members of parliament than Azimio.
This was after the most recent defection by UPIA party, which was Azimio affiliated before joining Ruto's Kenya Kwanza group. Ruto has also appointed a committee of strong leaders who will ensure a smooth transition to office.
Three leaders who won the nomination were Uasin Gishu women representative Gladys Shollei, former Parliament speaker Justin Muturi and UDA secretary General Veronica Maina.
The trio have been nominated by Kenya Kwanza to represent Ruto in the transition to power committee.
