"Moses Kuria Anaturingia Sana," DP Ruto Reveals As He Delivers A Tough Talk While In Embu
A few hours after attending a Holy Mass and fundraiser at the Sacred Heart Karaba Wango Parish of the Catholic Church in Mbeere South Constituency of Embu County, DP Ruto and his legion of allies reached another church for a fundraiser as well.
The venue was Total Grace Fellowship International Church still in Embu where he was being waited upon to lead in a fundraiser for construction of a church.
By the time they arrived at Total Grace church, clouds had turned dark and some light showers of rain were being experienced.
The rain even got more serious upon the DP ascending to the podium to deliver his speech but nothing could stop him from doing his thing.
After airing his gratitude for being called by Total Grace church to grace over the fundraiser and promising to stand by that church so as to see that the project is completed, he switched to talking about his mission and what's going on in the country.
That as a country we are past those days of the politics of hatred and tribalism. And that we don't debate on matters of God.
"Our faith is not negotiated with anybody. We are christians and the church or rather a place of worship should be respected," he said after talking about the teargas incident at AIPCA church in Murang'a.
As he finalised, he introduced the guests he had travelled with to the public and here is where he made a hilarious revelation.
The first person to introduce was Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria whom he revealed "anapenda kuturingia sana."
That the Gatundu South legislator has always been proud because "he walks in the shoes of Mzee Jomo Kenyatta."
"Ile viatu amevaa aliachiwa na Jomo," he said while referring to the Gatundu South parliamentary seat.
