For a long time there has been a stand off between Deputy President William Ruto and Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.
And now DP Ruto has dropped a bombshell to Matiang'i to stop medddlinh with politics and do his work as the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of Internal Security.
The DP said that it was so weird many parts of the northern Kenya and areas where pastoralism is a major economic activity,were treated as high insecure areas,yet those in security docket were involving themselves in politics.
"We have been experiencing some problems in most part of the country especially pastoralist areas.There is high insecurity because those responsible are busy engaging in politics," DP Ruto said.
"I ask them to desist from engaging in politics and do their work as they were told and appointed for, " DP Ruto said.
