Kithure Kindiki who was born in 16th July in Tharaka-Nithi county, is a Kenyan politician and a lawyer. He was elected in 2013 general elections to represent Tharaka-Nithi county in the Kenyan senate, in 2017 he was still re elected to represent the same county.
In the August coming elections he vying to be Ruto's running mate but Ruto chose Gachagua to be his running mate which made Kindiki take a break from politics. Tharaka-Nithi senator Kindiki said that he was convinced by deputy president William Ruto and the entire Kenya kwanza to drop his governorship bid.
In an interview with citizen Tv today on Wednesday the senator said that he had planned to announce his Tharaka-Nithi governorship bid on February 19 2022, but due to consultive meeting and reaching a consensus with UDA, they agreed that he should engage in National politics.
The senator added that the Kenya kwanza team will be conducting a vigorous campaign in the next 82 days that will ensure Ruto emerges at the top in the upcoming general elections.
