The relationship between President Kenyatta and his Deputy continues to hang on the line with both leaders struggling to find a working balance as far as their relationship is concerned.
The two leaders have been attacking each other publicly in recent days with Ruto raising alarm after his security was changed from GSU to Administration Police. The matter has not settled well with many Kenyans calling out the President for going to such length just to settle scores with his Deputy.
Earlier today Baringo Women Rep Gladwell Cheruiyot weighed on the debate about the withdrawal of Ruto's Security. According to Gladwell, the Deputy President should stop complaining about the AP since they are well trained and have been protecting other government officials and the Deputy President is not any different.
However lawyer Dunstan Omari schooled the women Rep that there is a difference between the Deputy President and a Woman Rep. According to Omari, the Deputy President has enemies both locally and internationally thus comparing herself to the Deputy President was too much of a tall order.
He noted that if Miss Gladwell was shot in the streets, only the people of Baringo will riot and demonstrate unlike the case of the Deputy President who represents the entire nation. "You cannot compare the Deputy President to a woman representative, if you are shot today only the people of Baringo County will demonstrate but if Something happens to Ruto today, the entire nation will be destabilized," he said
