President-elect Ruto explains why independent MPs are joining Kenya Kwanza as Azimio protests

The President Elect Dr William Ruto has finally explained the reasons why the Independent and Some of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance affiliate parties are defecting to his camp.

After hosting Members of Parliament elected on the independent tickets today at Karen residence, The President Elect Dr William Ruto emphasized that Implementing the Bottom-Up Economic agenda will require a bi-partisan approach in legislation and It is because of that reason that Member of Parliament elected on Independent tickets have committed to work with Kenya Kwanza.

Kenya Kwanza have today welcomed to to their camp independent Member of Parliament who includes; Joshua Mbithi (Masinga), Njoroge Elijah (Gatundu North), Caroline Ngelechei (Elgeyo Markwet), Rahim Dawood (Imenti North), Timothy Kipchumba (Markwet West), Ntutu Kitilai (Narok South), and Monica Muthoni (Lamu Woman Rep.)

Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance has condemned the Idea which the Independent Elected Members of Parliament and other Azimio affiliated parties are defecting to Kenya Kwanza. Azimio through their spokesman professor Makau Mutua has accused the President Elect Ruto of taking back the country in one party state and urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Amallo Odinga to act promptly before the situation is out of hand.
