The country is gearing up for the highly anticipated 2022 general elections where there are high expectations that various politicians will take on each other in the quest to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta whose mandate comes to an end.
Yesterday, four principals of the new political alliance in town: the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) met in Nairobi to deliberate on various issues that concern their coalition even as they made a resolve to work together next year.
And now as The Standard reports, the four principals Moses Wetang'ula of Ford Kenya, Musalia Mudavadi of ANC and Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper have scheduled a crucial event on Friday against Raila Odinga's ODM camp.
The report indicates that the three plan to leave ODM and Raila Odinga in limbo by planning to officially leave the National super alliance (NASA), the alliance that they have in ODM.
The three parties are plotting to hold their parliamentary group meeting this Friday to officially initiate their divorce from NASA in a move that will leave Raila Odinga's ODM party isolated.
The plot by the three leaders is to leave NASA and fully commit to the One Kenya Alliance which will likely leave Raila isolated and vulnerable.
