Narok County Senator Ledama Olekina has fearlessly hit out at the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) leaders while attending the inauguration of Mombasa County governor Abdulswamad Nassir.
Ledama has informed their competitors who are currently in the new government to know that they don't have any fear because they will be there to speak the truth.
He has also narrated that they are in opposition not by a mistake adding that they will be there to correct the government of the day.
"Sisi si watu wa kutishwa. Sisi ni watu wa kusema ukweli na unajua mwanaume hukufa siku moja ule muoga anakufa vifo ishirini. Ama namna gani? Na ndio nasema kuwa katika upinzani sio makosa na tutaeza kuchambua mambo vizuri. Mimi nataka kuwakumbusha hawa watu wa UDA acha niwaeleze ukweli. Kuna serikali aina tatu, kuna mahakama, bunge na kuna executive," said Senator Ledama Olekina.
In simple translation it means, we are not people who can be scared. We are people aligned with speaking the truth and remember a true man is one who dies once but a fearful one dies twenty times. I'm also saying that being in opposition is not a mistake. I want to remind those in UDA on this truth. We've three forms of which are the executive, the parliament and the judiciary.
