Deputy President Dr William Ruto's Wednesday sentiments on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) reveal that the vocal political icon has not lost hope in the possibility of having consensus as far as the BBI is concerned.

The second in command on Wednesday said that there is still time to achieve a non contested BBI referendum even if a number of counties have voted in support of the document. This is a clear indication that the Deputy President has not at all lost hope as far as his call for consensus is concerned.
William Ruto further called for change in the economic management of the country warning that the country is headed towards economic meltdown and so, economic matters should be looked into with ultimate seriousness.
