Hon. Rachael Ruto, the first lady, arrived in Mombasa County this afternoon and was lavishly welcomed by Hon. Abdulswamad Nasir, the county's governor. 
The first lady Hon. Rachael Ruto landed at Moi International Airport in Mombasa county before her tour of the coastal region, according to information that was posted on social media.
She was highly welcomed by the Orange Democratic Movement ODM party governor among other leaders who were with the governor.
This was the first time the first lady travelled to the coastal region after President William Samoei Ruto was sworn in. She is expected to carry out different official duties with the coastal leaders. 
Rachael Ruto has been traveling the nation to inspire the leaders to cooperate. However, before returning to Nairobi County, the coastal leaders are anticipated to interact with First Lady Hon. Rachael Ruto.
