Hon. Ndindi Nyoro, a member of parliament for Kiharu constituency, sent a special message to the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance shortly after the Greek ballots arrived. Coalition-aligned leaders claim that the Kenya Kwanza Coalition, which is led by vice president William Ruto, intends to rig the elections using IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.
Ndindi, however, has said that Raila Odinga, the head of Azimio La Umoja One in Kenya, has advised him to concentrate on his campaign and platform rather than the IEBC. "In the same game, you cannot serve as both a player and a referee. Keep your attention on your campaign and goals, and let the election commission handle its business "In his message to Azimio this morning, Ndindi added.
If the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission does not employ both a manual and an electronic register, which the Kenya Kwanza has characterized as sensing defeat, Raila yesterday vowed to boycott the elections.
