Deputy President William Ruto on Friday was in Kilifi County where he met and empowered small business traders and also donating food to the less privileged households of Vitengeni in Ganze Constituency.
With commotion, the DP's bodyguards tried their best to maintain peace, but Ruto urged them to leave the residents alone terming them 'wangwana.'
In his speech, Ruto urged the residents to join UDA party stating that it is a national political party that is all inclusive and do not advocate for tribalism contrary to other parties.
He criticized Raila, his camp and BBI proponents for pushing for an expanded Executive, despite the nullification of the BBI report by both the high Court and the Court of Appeal.
He further hit on the former Prime Minister for being ungrateful as he recounted how he helped him to become the PM yet he did not see his flaws, but because he is his main competitor, he is now calling him unprintable names.
