Upcoming Event That Uhuru, Ruto and Raila Will All Attend

On May 26, 2022, the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi will host the 19th national prayer breakfast. The event will be held in Kenya's parliament, and all of Kenya's leaders are expected to attend, including President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, and former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga. 

The three haven't shared a platform in a long time because of their disparate political parties and ideologies, particularly deputy president William Ruto, who is on a different road than the other two. President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto, the leader of the United Democratic Alliance and the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, had a falling out.

The breakdown between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Samoei Ruto stemmed from President Kenyatta's handshake with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in 2018. Raila had sworn himself in as the people's president prior to the handshake, and the country was tense. Dp Ruto and his allies resisted the handshake, causing the Jubilee Party, which had established to disband government in 2017,
