Wajackoyah Reveals Why he Is Not Flying in Choppers Like Other Politicians

George Wajackoyah, a presidential candidate for the Roots Party, has explained his lack of public campaign spending.

This occurs at a time when ODM leader Raila Odinga and DP William Ruto, two of his three rivals, are staging large, lavish rallies and flying around the nation in helicopters.

Wajackoyah, however, has asserted that he is unable to do so and added that this should dispel any notions that he may be a government initiative.

Wednesday's statement that, if he had been a project, he would have had helicopters and campaign funding is untrue.

"I want to be clear that I am not a government initiative or anyone else's. For the Kenyan people, I am competing in my race. I would be flying around in helicopters like everyone else if I were a government project as they allege "The People Daily quotes the attorney as saying in Murang'a.

He claimed that those who call him a project are growing scared as they learn that his objective is being reasoned with by a sizable percentage of the populace.

Wajackoyah was replying to supporters of William Ruto, the deputy president, who claim that Ruto is being supported by the government to divert Kenyans, particularly the youth, from voting for Ruto.
