Political allies of President William Ruto and the Former President Uhuru Kenyatta have opined that the Former Kajiado South member of parliament Katoo Ole Metito deserves the position he got yesterday as the State House Comptroller.
Katoo who unsuccessfully contested for the Kajiado's Gubernatorial seat under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party in the August 9th elections after losing to Joseph Ole Lenku has been Ruto's ally for a while now.
According to Eldas MP Adan Keynan, Former Mumias East MP Benjamin Washili and also Belgut MP Nelson Koech, Metito is always excellent in his work and is a good listener, and that might amount on to why Ruto trusted him for the lucrative position.
"Katoo is not from a political family yet he is extremely knowledgeable, polite and a good listener. He is also very fair, decisive and has immense patience and that makes him fit for the job very well," argued Keynan Uhuru's ally.
Ex-Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali termed Metito as a sober person, arguing that was the top most attribute that Ruto was impressed with.
"Metito has a high sense of public relations, he is a friend to many people and that is what the President was looking for. He is very sober and therefore will give the boss easy time to handle other matters at the State House."
Koech on his side termed Metito as a humble, selfless and dependable leader who fits very well for the slot.
