Kenyans have been warned against hate speech as we approach the 2022 general polls. The warning has been issued cabinet secretary for Interior security and coordination of national government, Dr Fred Matiang'i .
Speaking in a meeting convened by inspector general of police, Hillary Mutyambai, Dr Fred Matiang'i said that the government is planning to deploy a multi agency team by next week to map hate speech hotspots across Kenya.

Inspector general of police, Hillary Mutyambai was forced to postpone his usual engagement in twitter to chair the meeting.
The meeting specifically was aimed at deliberating on election Preparedness and other police reforms.
"I am leading the Inspector General’s Conference this morning to deliberate on election preparedness and other key pillars of police reforms. The meeting brings together Regional and County commanders. As a result, I have to postpone #EngageTheIG session for today", Hillary Mutyambai said.
