The 2022 presidential race is getting stiffer each day with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Rt Hon. Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto taking credit as top politicians in opinion polls to succeed president Uhuru. With the top contenders bracing themselves to face off their political arch rivals in the August polls, the ODM leader has laid down a special strategy aimed at bringing in more politicians into his camp through the Azimio La Umoja Movement. This has ushered in a period of political defections, sharpening of political daggers by aspirants and launching attacks against their competitors for political gain. Raila Odinga has also been working around the clock bringing on board several political bigwigs across the country especially governors, MPs and corporate leaders and cajoling them to support his bid. Today, Raila met with a delegation of leaders from North Eastern at Serena Hotel. Among the top leaders from the region to attend Raila's high profile meeting include one cabinet secretary. The CS spotted with Raila was the Treasury boss CS Ukur Yatan. Wajir Women Rep Fatuma Gedi was also present to present the interests of the people from North Eastern in Baba's movement.
