Today in the afternoon, reports have emerged that the vocal member of parliament for Embakasi East constituency, hon Paul Ongili famously known as Babu Owino has rejected the post that has been given to him by the ODM party.
As reported by the Kenyans.co.ke, hon Babu Owino has rejected his post as the secretary for science and technology. According to Owino, he is not ready for this new position saying that it is not in existence. He went ahead to tell the ODM party that he is not interested with any other post which is not the PAC chairman in the national assembly. Babu Owino said that he will still fight for this powerful position.
"There is nothing like that and I am not interested in such a position. I have not been told anything. Can you be given a position in your absence?. I already expressed my interest as Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman. That is what I wanted. I do not know whatever they are proposing to give me. I don't know what is there to be invented in ODM," he stated.
