Deputy President William Ruto was reportedly forced to fly to the coast on Tuesday for a crisis meeting with his senior coast friends, according to reports. According to reports, he will meet with leaders from his United Democratic Alliance movement party and the Pamoja African Alliance.
Since Governor of Kilifi, Mr Amason Kingi, led his PAA in joining Kenya Kwanza Alliance, there has been a lot of conflict from some UDA members in the Coast area, led by Malindi MP, Ms Aisha Jumwa.

Ms Jumwa has demanded that the vice president make the PAA-Kenya Kwanza agreement public, stating that the UDA's efforts are being hindered.
The UDA and PAA are worried about issues such as the Kenya Kwanza presidential campaign, in which Dr. Ruto is a candidate. Furthermore, in some areas, there is a disagreement between the two parties about candidate competition. A lot is definitely expected from this.
