Some days ago, Raila Odinga Announced Martha Karua as his running mate which raised different reactions from Kenyans. This led to kalonzo musyoka who was demanding the seat to leave Azimio la Umoja and stood to vie as the president where he choose his running mate too and wished Raila Odinga and Martha Karua all the best.
Later when Raila Odinga was announcing his cabinet he choose kalonzo musyoka as the chief cabinet secretary which seemed to confuse kalonzo a bit. Some of ukambani supporters including mutula kilonzo junior had been advicing kalonzo to accept the offer from Raila Odinga since if seems more juicy.
Now Raila Odinga has a reason to smile after kalonzo musyoka has decided to take a u turn and support Azimio la Umoja but under conditions. According to the star newspaper they have said that kalonzo is demanding the chief minister pledge to be captured in the coalition agreement to avoid Raila Odinga betraying him in future.
