On Sunday night, nearly all eyes were set on NTV Kenya where Deputy President William Ruto was being interviewed by veteran Journalist Joe Ageyo on matters regarding to the forthcoming General Elections and his Presidential bid.
It is in the one on one interview, the second in command divulged why he picked Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate ahead of the much awaited General Elections; claimed despite of being a passionate leader and peoples person, he picked the Mathira Mp as his running mate because he also believes in bottom-up model just like him.
The Dp's divulgment, which comes at a time a number of Azimio La Umoja components have been slamming the Dp for picking the Mathira Legislator as his running mate, sparked mixed emotions from Kenyans having a section of Kenyans slamming the Dp while others shared different opinions over Rigathi Gachagua. Below are few of the comments;
@Jb Kapilo~ "let me put this into one sentence, birds of the same feathers flock together! who else did you expect the Dp to pick apart from Gachagua? they know themselves, they've been eating together so he had no better option than Gachagua".
@George Mundu~ "Truth be told, Gachagua is not clean! the Dp is not clean either and because of that, we are voting in his highness Wajackoya period!".
