Kenyan towns have had in the recent past seen numerous developments within their environs. Kakamega and Kisumu Town are examples of these towns that have had tremendous growths in their infrastructure machinery.

Recent developments seen in her infrastructure can be attributed to the meticulous approach of the county government to transform this town into a modern city like Nairobi. Kakamega has seen tremendous growth in her infrastructure input characterized with modern roads and modern buildings that have been put up in the town and those that still are underway.
Construction of Mwale Medical and Technology City is a good gesture to this town that will ensure it's prosperity. The hospital with a capacity of holding 5000 patients will be a bedrock for cancer screening and treatment in Western Kenya.
Kakamega town has also seen numerous road projects brought closer to her doorsteps. The construction of Kisumu Kakamega road is another mark that will bring this town to her glory. Open and faster trade between this town will be a key achievement in ensuring her sustainable development.
