Peter Safari Shehe is a former Member of Parliament of Ganze Constituency for the period of 2013 to 2017.In 2017,the leader was defeated by MP Teddy Mwambire of Orange Democratic Movement. After his loss,Shehe decided to leave the country for Switzerland where he has been staying until when he recently jetted back into the country.
With only four months to the elections,Shehe started his campaigns after he listened to what his people really wanted him to do for them. After a period of soul searching, the former MP was advised to seek the MCA seat where many people wanted him to lead them.Shehe after clearing his mind he decided to campaign in a unique and clever way which was to get to know what the voters want.Shehe never campaigned in public areas but he campaigned by involving the leaders in the Jaribuni ward of whom he met them time to time. The leaders are the ones who sold Shehe's ideas to the people which was a clever move that made him win in the MCA seat by winning with 3121votes.Though Mr Shehe is associated with looting of cash from Ganze Constituency Development Fund amounting to 40 million,in the period between July 1,2013 and June 20,2014,he has a reason to be happy for winning. Please share and follow me for more updates.
