Kenyans have now been informed on Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's plan to have former President Uhuru Kenyatta in the Kenya Kwanza Coalition and for him to be the undisputed Mt Kenya kingpin.
While addressing journalists after a consultative meeting in Kirinyaga, Jubilee Party Chair Muriithi wa Kang’ara claimed that the second in command is forcing the former Head of State to join Kenya Kwanza in order to take up the role of the region's spokesperson.
"Why is he telling Uhuru to join Kenya Kwanza? If you go anywhere, respect Uhuru and leave him alone," he opined.
Wa Kang'ara further stated that Uhuru remains to be the spokesperson and kingpin of the region and warned DP dough against trying to impose himself to the people of Central Kenya.
"Mt Kenya has not yet stated who will replace Uhuru as our kingpin. He is still the spokesperson and kingpin of Mt Kenya. We have also not stated that you are Mt Kenya kingpin," Wa Kang’ara said.
