The ongoing interview for the Chief Justice Candidates is getting interesting as more candidates are being tasted on there ability to serve the most sensitive position in Judiciary.
Justice Merete has been the talk across the country and he caught the attention of millions of Kenyans who enjoyed how he was responded to the questions being asked by the panelists. Section of Kenyans felt that Marete was doing all that drama knowing that the next Chief Justice is already known.
After the interviews, Law Society of Kenya (LSK)president Nelson Havi took to his Twitter account saying that Justice Marete was the best chief justice Kenya was looking for. His sentiments elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans. Many Kenyans went to the social media to compare the photos of Nelson Havi and the those of Justice Marete.
Today, the Law Society of Kenya president has come out to warn any Kenyan or any individual who is circulating the said meme. The meme contains his photo and that of Justice Marete stating that anyone who will be found circulating it will be charged with sedition and will be denied bail. He added that, that person will be treason if he or she will be brought to his DM.
It was just recently when law Society of Kenya president has been involved in a tussle of leadership with a section of members of the LSK who thinks that his leadership is not sufficient to propagate Kenya to greater heights.
