Nobody is above the law! Kenya has suffered severely because of our leaders failing to obey the law. Our leaders should lead and the citizens should follow. Unfortunately this has not been the case. Most powerful persons in our country are the one leading to defiance of the law. President Uhuru Kenyatta made a decree of suspending all public gathering for one month in all the counties as a way of controlling the spread of covid 19 infections in Kenya. This was after a serious consultation with the experts in our country who came up with conclusions that political compaigns that were being conducted were the super spreaders of the virus. What followed after this was a lockdown to five counties.
Unfortunately, the President has forgotten the decrees he made. He decided to defy the law by conducting a meeting with the Maa community elders in state house. I thought our president should be law abiding citizen. He should be arrested for risking the lives of several Maa communities!
