The race for State House is heating up with presidential candidates touring different regions in Kenya as they try to woo the electorate on their sides. Both Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto and the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga are intensively preparing for the fourth coming general elections to be held next year.
The two leaders were in different parts of Kenya as they sell their agendas and request for endorsments. While Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto was in Western Region, the Former Prime Minister Hon Raila Amolo Odinga was in Coast Region.
The Coast legislators accused Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto for being tribalism when he was given free hand to appoint Cabinet Secretaries. They said that he picked Cabinet Secretaries from just his Rift Valley Region while President Uhuru Kenyatta picked randomly from across the country without discrimination.
Governor Ali Hassan Joho said he will shelve his ambition for presidency for Hon Raila Amolo Odinga. The Coast Region has always backed Hon Raila Amolo Odinga and this time round, they have vowed to support his presidential bid again.
