Multiple sources had established that both Deputy President William Ruto and Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga were planning this time round to have their running mates from the Mt Kenya region.
The latest Polls Results has been a good news to both Raila and Ruto since the Poll results have shown that their Preffered running mates both come from the Mt Kenya.
The poll has alledged that Mathira Member of Parliament Rigathi Gachagua is the most Preffered running mate for Deputy President William Ruto. On the other hand, Forner Gatanga Member of the National Assembly Peter Kenneth is the Preffered running mate for Raila Odinga.
This is a big boost in both camps if this may be a reality in what is likely to happen before the ballot day. This is because the choice of Deputy also is influential in presidential candidates quest to earn more votes.
